BiteLab is written from Lausanne by a local editor who prefers being useful to being loud. The site is anonymous on purpose: no real name, no face photo, no employer, and no exact routine on display.
The Lausanne side is based on local knowledge, direct observations, and, where possible, first-hand photos and notes. Lausanne is beautiful, a bit hilly, sometimes expensive, and much easier to enjoy when someone gives you the plain version first.
Editorial Standards
Recommendations are independent unless clearly labeled otherwise. If affiliate links, sponsored links, or paid placements appear in the future, they will be disclosed near the relevant page or post.
Local reviews should be based on first-hand notes and photos when possible. If a guide relies on desk research, that should be clear from context.
Research notes on AI, technology, and health are exploratory summaries. Health content is informational only and is not medical advice.
